Un ritual prehispánico tan antiguo como enigmático
Una de las prácticas ancestrales de la medicina prehispánica que perdura hasta nuestros tiempos es El Temazcal. Su nombre es de origen náhuatl y quiere decir “Casa de Baño”, un baño tan poderoso que las culturas indígenas lo utilizaban para fines medicinales.
El calor, el sudor, los aromas y el ritual, nos conectan con la esencia de nuestro ser. En Petit Lafitte hemos decidido honrar a nuestros antepasados creando un temazcal en honor al Xibalbá o inframundo.
One of the ancestral practices of pre-Hispanic medicine that has persisted to our times is the Temazcal. Its name originates from Nahuatl and means "House of Steam," a powerful bath that indigenous cultures used for medicinal purposes.
