Día de Muertos bread, deeply rooted in Mexican Día de Muertos tradition, is more than a delicacy.
Every shape, from its rolls to its decorative bones, holds deep meanings. The central round represents the skull, the four bones symbolize the four cardinal points, and the tears express the memory of those who are no longer with us. The essence of orange blossom reminds of the souls' journey, and the sugar represents the dust of the earth. Thus, the Día de Muertos bread is a culinary masterpiece that pays homage to life, death, and the eternal connection with our loved ones.
